Breakfast Bike Runs

I have been taking pictures and thinking about doing this for some time. Places have been missed, ratings are sort of unnecessary, but there are a number of meals or places that could bear mentioning in the long run. We tend to ride in the morning before the Sun gets to serious work for the day. Given that, we tend to either meet for breakfast or use a place as a destination, trying to find the twistier and turnier roads in the area or beyond.

There won’t be much to say, in most places breakfast is what it is. If there is something significant, I will do my best to describe it, but don’t expect too much. Just looking forward to new rides and some eggs.
 

Farmer Boy Restaurant

After some lightly twisting back roads I found myself in Spencer Ohio for the first time ever to the best of my memory. Sitting at, I think, the only stop light in the berg is the Farmer Boy Restaurant. Stepping inside gave off a good vibe as the place was packed with folks working through their first meal of the day.

It was pretty evident the guy standing in the kitchen ascribes to the old world dictatorial method of running an kitchen but somehow the servers were able to turn that off before getting to the tables and put on a happy face.

I ordered a mushroom and cheese omelet which was loaded with fungus and arrived with well seasoned hash browns that made for a pretty tasty breakfast. I expect we will return here at some point, breakfast was worth it and there appear to be plenty of roads to explore past the single stop light.
