It took so long. Someone told me we should try this place a few
months ago and we tried. Twice. Neither of the two locations had
seating that we could find so we decided to get some take out for a
lunch break instead. Sure, it won’t be as good after a trip in a
box, but if that’s the only way to get it, that’s how it is. The
atmosphere and service won’t have any weight here. |

We ordered a small pepperoni pizza, a regular four-piece box with white meat, jojos and a steak sandwich. The pizza is very Italian in style, simple, clean, crisp crust, spicy rings of pepp, a balanced sauce with herby notes. It won’t blow you away but I don’t think you would ever be tragically disappointed by it either. The jojo’s were below average, the breading on the chicken held a salty crunch with some very light spice but the tater wedges completely absorbed any of that flavor in the breading attached to them, crushing it.
The chicken was moist and hot, but suffered from steaming up the
inside of the box and lost any chance at crispitude. As mentioned
before, the breading added something worthwhile to the mix and you
end up with a perfectly serviceable yard bird. |

The steak sandwich turned out to be above average. Cut much thicker than you would see in a Philly cheese, the beef was still very tender and was boosted with a dose of condiments and some vinegary punch and spice from the banana peppers. Put the whole thing on a toasted sesame sub bun and it works pretty darn well.
Fiesta Pizza provides some more classic Italian offerings than most
pizza places and while they may not be great they are certainly
solid. |
